Who /how tall/ how single is Jon Stewart?

For all your Jon Stewart-related questions, I'm gonna send you over to the Jon Stewart Intelligence Agency, where they have all the information you'll ever need/want and then some.

Hey, aren't all your pictures/sounds/transcripts from the Jon Stewart Intelligence  Agency? Did you, like, steal their content?

No. The JSIA kindly donated their entire collection of pictures, sounds, transcripts, etc. to the Jon Stewart Resource - for free! Yay!

Can I use stuff from your site? Like pictures or transcripts?

Here's the deal:

If it's for your own personal use, go right ahead.

If it's for a journal or blog, and is something small (one or two pictures, a section of a transcript), all I ask is that you give credit to the Jon Stewart Resource (http://jon.happyjoyfun.net).

But if it's for another site? Nope. Sorry. All the content on the Jon Stewart Resource has been pain-stakingly gathered by Jon fans for this site only. It can take hours upon hours to make screen caps, or to transcribe a TV show (especially if you don't have TIVO). If you take something from this site without permission, you will be spitting in the face of all the hard work everyone has done. And you wouldn't want to do that, would you?

If you absolutely must use something from the JSR, then e-mail Cristina (cristina [at] happyjoyfun.net, replace [at] with @ ) and plead your case accordingly. It doesn't hurt to ask!

Can I request a specific screen cap or transcript?

No. What you see is what you get. However, you're welcome to donate anything that you don't see on the site already.

Can I contribute/submit anything (pictures, transcripts, desktop items, etc.) to the JSR?

Of course! That would be wonderful! The Jon Stewart fan community would greatly benefit from any contributions. If you want to submit something, please send an email to Cristina (cristina [at] happyjoyfun.net, replace [at] with @ ) with "Submission for JSR" as the subject, and a brief description of your submission (ie, "screen caps of Jon's appearance on Letterman"). Please do not send attachments until Cristina has replied to confirm your submission. With all the viruses that are going around, I don't want to take any chances.

What do I get if I sumbit something to this site?

The love and respect of the Jon-loving community! Ok, ok, you also get credit on the Jon Stewart Resource for your contribution, and a link to your personal site (if you'd like). For instance, if you contribute some pictures, "Thanks to [yourname]" will appear at the bottom of the page, with your site linked on your name. If you've submitted something in the past and want to update your information, please email Cristina (cristina [at] happyjoyfun.net, replace [at] with @ ).

Who runs this site?

Currently the site is being run by 27 of Jon's love-slaves. Ok, I keed, I keed. My name is Cristina, and I'm a college student with way too much time on my hands.

How often will this site be updated?

Hopefully, 2 - 4 times a month until I run out of material. After that, who knows?

I'm looking for a tape of ______. Will you make me a copy?

At the moment, I do not have the capability to make copies of my tapes. But don't give up hope. Try asking nicely on the JSIA Bulliten Boards, and maybe someone will help you.

What software did you use to make this site?

This site was made using a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
